Since 2013 RONHAI has driven the initiative to bring micro-financing opportunities to the farmers in the community.
The aim is to empower especially women to participate in loan programs in order to support their business. The participation is open for everyone as RONHAI supports all people irrespective of gender, social status, religious or political affiliation.
Prior to participation in the loan program RONHAI undertakes an interview with the applicants in order to provide information and counsel the applicant. RONHAI is partnering with Vision Fund Uganda micro-financing program.

In general loans are granted to a group of people from the same area and who share the same working background. Each group appoints a chairman, treasurer and secretary who lead the group. A person from Vision Fund Uganda participates in group meetings and supports in administration, however it is the responsibility of the group leader to ensure proper processing of the grants as well as timely repayment of the loan. In exceptional cases individual loans are granted.

RONHAI is the first contact for all applicants. Application forms can be obtained from the RONHAI office. We will help all interested people to get information and act as the interface to connect the applicants to the different loan groups. RONHAI also supports the initiative to form new groups and gets in contact with Vision Fund Uganda to provide training for new members. Other forms of financing is provided by the newly founded SACCO Reach Out Nkokonjeru Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd.
