In July 2016, our friend and donor Beau Engman and his friends in Wisconsin (USA) supported us in starting a solar powered computer lab project.
In June, five people visited RONHAI in Nkokonjeru and brought not only 10 laptops but also granted funds to implement Wi-Fi in the office. In addition, a big investment was made for a large solar system in order to enable the organization to cope with the increasing demand in electricity. RONHAI is now able to offer computer classes, especially for your girls and boys from the schools around, supporting the education and development of skills within community. Being able to use the computer and knowing how to navigate the internet is essential today, especially for young people.
