Health Promotion and supporting children

Our organisation provides a holistic approach to prevention, treatment and care services of HIV as well as general access to health care.

We care for people infected and those affected by HIV, primarily targeting women and children living with HIV. We also promote free access to health care for all people in the Buikwe district who belong to the less privileged and destitute social groups.

We support vulnerable children, boys and girls alike, in getting access to education. We financially support children to complete a full course of primary schooling or even beyond. In parallel, much effort is put into the improvement of the economic situation of the families in order to ensure a sustainable positive development of their income. This will enable them to take responsibility to care for their children’s education autonomously.

In addition RONHAI supports children with disabilities. We offer financial funding of treatment which sustainably improves the physical or mental condition of the child. Applicants come to the RONHAI office to apply for funding. RONHAI staff help to fill in the application form and ensure submission to our partner organisation for further administration and final approval. Please contact the RONHAI office for further details and necessary support.
